I had a CEL come on for "too lean in bank 1" and horrible gas milage. I borrowed my friends MAF sensor and put the stock intake box back in and the air temp readings was a little higher (meaning i'm getting better readings) than my old MAF sensor. Drove it on a full tank of gas and no cel thus far. I'm thinking it's the MAF sensor so, besides the dealer, does anyone have one or know where I could get one for a decent price? Dealer quoted me about $250.

I don't know for sure but it's an assumption. my mods are Dp, uppipe, cbe, stock intake and bullwinkle tune. My buddy and i hooked up a genisys to get readings and with my oem maf sensor the readings for air or something was like 2.34 or something like that. We switched maf sensor from his 02 and it was a lilttle higher around 3 something. I've been driving it for about a week now with no cel. We did check for leaks in the air intake tract by spraying carb cleaner around the vacuum hoses. I don't know if that's the correct way of finding a leak or not.

Ok, the bullwinkle tune makes me feel better in terms of it being probably a mechanical failure.

I'd say to drive it for at least another week and then have somebody check your long term fuel trims with a logger. IIRC, the CEL you got will trip when those trims exceed something like +/- 15%.

It would also be a good idea to check your front o2 sensor as well. A good way to check this is to again hook up a logger (such as Enginuity/RomRaider) and look at your a/f ratios at idle -- they should read 14.7 and should move around a bit when you rev the engine.
