    ebay I think there are one for like $10 that may work, search VAG-COM

    Good luck trying to flash with ANYTHING other than the tactrix cable. It might work for datalogging with Tari, but that's it.

    Get at least a Dual-K (i think that's what its called) Vag-Com
    it's the fastest non-tactrix and is around 25-30 last i checked.

    you'll actually be able to pull roms off of cars with one of these, but not flash.
    it's the closest thing to a tactrix cable without actually buying one.

    pin outs shouldnt matter, thats the reason for obd2

    You NEED a Subaru-specific cable for this. Just obdII won't be enough since Subaru also uses SSM for datalogging.
