WTB: Muffler Silencer? Help?

    Hey, I'm looking for a muffler silencer for my N1 muffler, I believe it's a 4.5 inch tip. Anyone have one or know where I can find one? I got a muffler ticket last night :mad:

    i have 2, not sure what size they are for - i will try and measure them tonight

    (one of a jic 505sus and 1 off a 5zigen something or other)

    I also have one off my megan...would take some time finding it...my exhaust is pretty large most likely 4 inch as well so it might fit.

    Awesome, I believe it is 115mm or 4.5 inch

    my jic has a 100mm tip, so that one probably wouldn't fit very well, i need to check on the 5zigen

    I have a 4.5 inch silencer, its from my invidia g200. Let me know I have it right here.

    Ouch, that didn't take long!

    Good luck finding one, that thing is pretty loud.

    Ok, guys after countless phone calls and driving around I finally found one! I put it on, however I didn't line up the screw hole correctly. It felt pretty snug, so I thought it would be ok! No less than 2 minutes later I was boosting up an entrance ramp and the thing shot out of my muffler and hit the car behind me!:eek4: It then landed on the shoulder. I drove down an exit, did a loop and picked it back up. After putting it in correctly, I have notcied a definite lack of power. I'm taking it back out. I spent alot of time and money to get my power, and I'll just treat the ticket as a cost of the hobby. F*** the police :cool:

    Yeah, it basically funnels your exhaust down to 1", lol. That is why I use mine as a funnel :)

    should put the silencer in backwards so then it actually looks like a 1" exhaust! lolz

    If don't want your car to be constipated, just buy the used sti exhuast from that one guy :)
