Since i cant keep a car stock for more than a few days..i'm going to be needing some parts to sooth my anxiety of having a stock car. I'll update the list as time goes. thanks guys

    ps- yell at me if i'm asking for something that doesnt work on a 4door 96 L 2.2. i'm a gc4/6/8 noob

    NEEDED:
93-96 L or 96-01 RS black door cards for power windows/locks
    rs/wrx black/dark grey carpet
02 wrx front and/or rear brakes (calipers, brackets, etc)

02 wrx rear sway bar -GOT IT - dont need anymore
02-03 wrx front/rear seats -GOT IT - dont need anymore

i know you can do a complete wrx dash swap which i think would be completely hot in the L...so if anyone has the dash pieces let me know.

i'll update this first post with new wtb things and i'll also post it in the thread.

Not sure the rear sway would work, I think you need a GC one.

yah the WRX bar will work fine. you might need 16" wheels to clear wrx brakes.

yep. Rear sway is good to go. The WRX seats look awesome in GC's, and are way more comfortable. I believe the '02's are the most comfortable of all wrx seats up until the 06's, or so I've heard. WRX 6cd/cd player swaps right in and will increase the clarity/volume of your sound. The also allow the stock speakers in the GC's to play louder without getting electric noise. IMO one of my favorite things I ever did to my RS.

you dont need wrx wheels to clear 02-05 WRX brakes. theyre barely bigger than the L brakes are anyways.

Also, the WRX has only ever had 2 models of seat in it. the 02-03 seats and the 04-present seats. the TR has the same seats as the 02-03.

the brake statment is un-true to a point, i have stock 02 wrx brakes on mine and you CAN NOT use anything smaller then a 16, but any subaru 16in aluminum will work

^ i think this sums that up. http://jdmpartstx.com/gc8_suspension/

pretty much all the fronts are the same, and the rears are slightly different.

you should htink about getting the 00-01 RS headlights. they make the car look so much better.

Dude, just go and jump your car in like 3rd gear and total it. Then buy it back from the ins. company and you'll have all kinds of parts.

jdmparts guys are pretty cool. i bought my spec c suspension from them thats on the wrx right now.

i was pondering the idea of the 99-01 front end swap. i'll stick with the simple L front end for now.

STOP. i just bought a rsb, oem endlinks, and bushings from a nasioc'r. thanks though

only if i didnt have to serve jail time for the felony.

going to my parents place tonight..i believe it is there...i could really use that suspension on the L now though hmmm:hsugh:

because that non running wrx might be getting returned to some-what stock and sold.

on my green car i have wrx struts all around i believe all you have to do is use the tophats from the gc to make the rears work.

also second on classic front end, just get a jdm grillz cause the ones on these are uber gay.

and you'll love that 20mm sway they flippin rock:biggrin:

backs are prolly the same as a 02-05 wrx, I'd go for some vented rear brakes like the old legacy turbos, or new legacy GT's or you could find yourself 06-07 WRX front and rears... theres lots of options.

lookin good. the gold on green is a great combo IMO. you need to lower that thing though, its a monster truck.

you will keep finding LX features forever on these cars, atleast thats what i have been noticing. i didnt know i had painted handles and mirrors til this past summer. lol

the tires BARELY fit. i literally have 1/4-1/2" of space on the back between the tire and strut and on the front i thought i had more but when hitting a dip earlier today i believe i bottom out the front right tire. i'd be skerd to drop it more

really what size tires are they? i am running 16"s with a slightly smaller sidewall cuase the car comes with 15" wheels. so the 205/50/r16 is the same size as the stock 195/60/r15. i have plenty of room by the strut but i do rub a tiny bit on teh mud flaps while turning hard.
