WTB Need ASAP!!! Stock turbo heat shield

I should be putting my motor back together this weekend. I am in dire need of a IHI series turbo heat shield. I have a vf28 but I'm sure a stock heat shield off of another IHI turbo should do just fine, or I can modify it to fit.

haha should be getting the rebuilt motor back on friday, and was sliacking on getting this part.

 

i have one if you still are looking for one. i dont know if its exactly what you are looking for but if you want it you can have it.

sorry noob question but what does the heat shield do? and do you need it??

if there is more than one person out there with stock heatshield, i'll take the second one after impreziv gets his.

keeps the heat generated by the turbo from rising and heat soaking the intercooler. It only slows it down really. Its not neccesary, but it does help. some larger turbos cant fit the stock one, and I had to trim quite a bit off of mine to fit my downpipe
