Yeah, I have some borla's with a tap for egt at cylinder #4. It can be plugged up pretty easily as it's a npt fitting. One hundred bucks takes it if you want.
that's alright, the car's boosted so i need the flange to meet the upipe at the stock location looks like i'll just be waiting for the next round of borla replicas, as long as the price doesn't jump too much
That's funny because I actually opted for the stock headers while boosted. Smaller diameter, shorter length, means better spoolup for me . I had the stocks gasket matched and coated by grimmspeed and I noticed a significant gain compared to the borla's.
Hmmm, sound like good news for me. I've been going back and forth on that but i haven't been able to find much good info. What's your car's setup? I'm kind of worried at higher power (15, soon 20psi on a t3t04e) that i'd be seing to much manifold pressure. Maybe i'll just get the die grinder out today and clean up the stock ones.
honestly not sure lol, i bought it used ages ago, i think it's a minnam but the intercooler made me think it wasn't (i've since changed to a front mount)
