I'm in need of a set of 4 wheels to fit on 05 STI hubs: 17x8 with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern. Must clear the STi brakes.

    Thanks,
    Rallyczar

I have a set of 17x8 Mille Miglia HT3 LT Grey wheels with 225/45VR-17 Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tires on them I'll be getting rid of shortly. The rims have no curbage but one has a few paint chips around the lug hole. Tires are just above 50%. I'm open to offers but they'll be on the car about another week or so.

I would be interested in these. Have you had any problems with getting them bent in potholes, etc? That seems to be a problem with some owners.

Where are you located? I'm in Mpls and the car is just north of Como Park.

My main problem is that they will go on a 98 RS which is being converted to 05 STi running gear and brakes. The 04 STi BBS 17x7.5 wheels with 5x100 bolt pattern that were on the car pre-conversion had no interference problems with either the struts or the fender lips (which had been rolled). I'm hoping that the 17x8's will also fit but am not positive. Has anyone else had experience with a similar set-up?

    Thanks,

I'm running on a set of 05 sti BBS on my gc right now, but I still need to roll my fenders. The tires come very close to my coilovers, so depending on what kind of suspension your running you may end up with tire/suspension rubbing issues. Fuji's BC coilovers seem to give him a little bit more of a gap, but mine were pretty close.

I have coil overs which are relatively small in diameter so it sounds as if your 8" wheels would fit. Where are you located and what price are you asking? On Monday I'm leaving for a month in Argentina but could arrange for the fellow that is working on the car to pick them up.

    Thanks,

I've never had issues with potholes on any of my rims (two sets of BBS or these). I do run the stock 45 profile. I'd imagine going lower would start to create problems.

I haven't even pulled them off the car yet so I haven't given price much thought. Around 400 for everything would seem fair to me.

I'll take them at that price. As I mentioned, I'm leaving on Monday morning but won't be in need of the wheels until the car is reassembled which will probably be in two weeks or so. The rotors have to arrive and then the knuckles, rotors, etc. have to be put back on. Could I send $100 to hold them and pay the rest when they are picked up? The latest pickup would be on 3/27 the day after I get back. Presumably Earl, the fellow that is doing the work, will want to get the car out of his garage or at least have it movable before then so I could leave a check or money with him and let the two of you work out earlier pickup.
