Hello all. First post here and am already in need of some things. Just scored my (our, if the wife is listening) first Subaru. As the title would lead you to believe, it's an '03 WRX wagon - I'll save the introduction/story for the welcome mat. Anywho, things I'm in need/want of (don't have a problem with used stuff/enjoy saving money):

fog lights w/ mounting rings - only "need" the pass. side housing, but definitely need both mounting rings.

head rests for the rear seats - the one for the middle person is there, but the outer two are MIA. It's the black w/ blue trim interior (sorry, definitely don't know all the slang yet)

catback exhaust - have spent the most of my time researching exhaust as my first "mod". This thing is way too damn quiet and I'll admit half the reason I wanted a Subaru was just because of the sound. Anywho, been seeing all these dirt cheap options on ebay/amazon and feel like I might be better off buying a used "good" one instead of new "****ty" one. Ideally would like something that comes straight out as opposed to the angled look, but price is probably the determining factor. Also, don't want race car loud but would like a good rumble.

roof rack crossbars - never knew how expensive these were until actually looking into them. Used to have a Taurus wagon that had sliding cross bars and all I had to do was strap my roof box down and go. Apparently not that easy with this one...

I'm sure I'm already forgetting something as I've been drowning myself in Subaru reading the last few days. But it's all good. So cool to finally have one.

    Also, thanks for your time!

Apparently you can't edit a post?

Scored a used right side fog light housing on ebay, and the mounting rings I got through work at dealer cost. Also scored both of the rear head rests on ebay.

Still in search of a decent, used catback. Holding off on the roof rack for now unless I find a crazy deal on GearTrade or something.

How much are you willing to spend? I have a buddy who bought a Spec-D N-1 style cat back from Amazon for $120 and its sounds better than mine.

If you're looking for a non-melon launcher, non-angled catback exhaust, check out the Greddy EVO1 or EVO2, SPT, Maddaad Whisper, and Cobb. There may be others, but those all look decent and are not too obnoxious.

Good luck with the search on everything, and welcome to the forum!

If you looking for a cheap cat back the M2 performance one in eBay is pretty decent. I know eBay stuff can vary but it has a nice rumble when on the throttle, isn't obnoxiously loud and looks pretty nice to.

You know, when I first started looking for them that was the first one I found. Reviews seem pretty good on it and you really can't beat the price. Only thing I'm worried about is it's a daily driver, which means it'll get pounded with salt during snow season here. Haven't really heard many good things about the "cheap" stainless. Since most everybody on here is in the same situation weather-wise, does anybody have differing opinions?

As far as money to spend, a couple hundred bucks probably right now. I found a used Vibrant catback on Craigslist locally. Dude's asking $275 but it's been listed for over a month now. Thinking I could probably get a little off since it's not moving.

Lastly, it's not a huge deal, but I'd prefer one that comes out straight as opposed to at an angle. (guess I mentioned that in the op as well) The Vibrant one I mentioned comes out straight, so that's a plus.

    Thanks for the responses.

The m2 doesn't have an angle it comes straight out and has a lower profile muffler. Looks pretty stock. As far as the cheap stainless they use I wouldn't really now how it holds up, I bought mine used and the previous owner had it painted black. I repainted it when I got it and its holding up great so far.

Still looking for the wagon cross bars? If so, I have some sitting in my garage. PM me if you're interested.

If your still looking for the head rests, I'd be willing to part with mine for say $30 for the set
