WTB: Starter for 95 1.8L

Hey guys I need a starter for my L and figured one of you might have one laying around. Its for a 95 Impreza L with the 1.8 motor but maybe someone knows if other models are interchangeable? Just checking here before I buy a new/refurb one...

 

It will be different between auto and manual.

 

I was just at u-pull in ham lake and they had a 1.8 there. not sure what parts were there tho.

 

This is true, as I believe there are a different number of teeth on the TC versus a flywheel.

I have an extra 2.2l Auto starter sitting around somewhere.

 

Its a manual sorry didn't think of that. Maybe I'll check into the ham lake u-pull thats not too far away from me.

I just looked on car-parts.com and found a cheap one close by. So I'll prolly just pick that up unless someone here has one to get rid of.

 

thanks for the good idea on the website jake, you just saved me about a $100!! now to just find a good used knock sensor.

 

I think I have an extra one for a 2.0L WRX if you need one.
