WTB STI Catback or maybe OEM WRX

    Like others I'm tired of the cops hassling me for my exhaust. I have a local state trooper that pays close attention to me and since I live in WI it must be as close to stock as possible.

    I have questions...

    Is there a difference between a stock STI exhaust and an SPT exhaust? What are their pipe sizes? What is the pipe size on an OEM WRX exhaust?

    I'll be running it catless still but want the resonator and quieter muffler.

    i have a stock sti itermediate pipe axle back, pm if interested, i currently am runnin the spt cat-back. and its 2.5in pipping i believe(correct me if i am wrong). not too sure what the pipping is on stock sti exhaust though.

    the 09 WRX 5-door SPT exhaust is 2.5' from the cat to the muffler connection. Then 3" from the connection by the muffler to the muffler and out.
