Just for reference, there isn't an STI cold air intake. The STi uses the same snorkus/airbox as the wrx and the forester xt

The only difference between the two is the resonator part of the intake; I always found it interesting that is the only difference. I'm sure it has to do with fender width and shape, but the bottom part of the resonator has a slightly different shape. I'll try to post a picture when I have time.
Maybe you misunderstood, I meant an aftermarket cold air intake(such as http://www.edgeautosport.com/injen-cold-air-intake-wrx-02-07-sti-04-07/), I realize that STI come with a similar/same setup as the other turbo engines.
