Just checking if anyone is planning to put their car on the market.... My price range would sit better with the 08-11 years. The cheaper the better lol
Well they vary by milage, you will have a completely different value for a car with different miles.. Do you want nada for a car with 5000 miles or a car with 150000 the values will vary.
ever been to any of those sites? the ****ing numbers you get back vary with the goddamn mileage of the car.
I guess I didn't mean to insult you derp. You and I are clearly not seeing eye to eye. I wasn't trying to be a dickhead I just thought what he said was a little ambiguous.
Having bought my 08 last summer, it seems pretty much any turbo Subaru is at a premium and book values may not be accurate. The market will drive the price.
That's how it usually is..but . Was able to find a 08 sti white for 23k but it has 90k miles on it with aftermarket rims which makes me hesitant to buy...
Dealer has no knowledge of what's been done but it'. A one owner car. Sounds good deal or too many milage for year and price?
Insufficient information. You should look for missing heat shields and other evidence of modifications. If it was modified and has 90k miles on it I wouldn't pay $23k for it...it will likely need a new engine soon. Either way I probably wouldn't pay 23k for it. What do you want out of the car? Plan on modifying? What will it be used for?
yeah i was thinking 23k is just too much for a 90k mile car with no information. This is the engine shot...
just spirited driving; nothing crazy maybe around 350whp. I was looking into the 11 wrxs, but I rather pay extra for the sstronger 6speed.
I suppose an 11 wrx vs 08 sti is a hard choice...I would personally hold out until I found a lower mileage 08 STI that you know some of the history of. Either way with 350whp in mind you should budget for a new motor sooner than later. Why do you want an 08+? It looks like you have an 04-05 wrx from your avatar. Do you just want a newer car?
was looking for an 06-07 sti, but the wide body hatches has grown on me. My 04 wrx had 4th gear grinds and that's probably why i want to stay away from the 5speeds.
Yes, I understand that. I'm just saying I rather start out with 6speed since it's more durable. my old 04 started grinding when it had 87k miles.
