WTB: Sti or WRX short block

I developed rod knock. I need either a low mileage STi short block or a WRX 2.0 short block with low miles in excellent condition.

I'd prefer the STi and would prefer brand new. Shoot me a price.

The mnsoc discount is a hair better, but this price is farrrr under subaru list.

 

How much better is the MNSOC discount? I've read of people finding them for $1650 new from certain dealers, would this be possible in any way?

 

The best I could do would be about $1750 for MNSOC
