WTB STI tmic & Cobb DP for 06 wrx

I am look to up the poniez on my 2006 WRX. And as the title states, I am looking for a Cobb down pipe, an STI tmic, and possibly the bellow/splitter that goes with it. Lmk what ya got, and what you want for it. Also have a Kicker 12" L7 sub and box, and a Cobb SF intake for partial trade if anyone is interested. Thanks.

 

Definitely get the STI splitter. The WRX splitter is too small for the STI top mount.

 

Yeah I agree. I just finally got one for my stock tmic, my car didn't have one when I bought it. I'm hoping someone has both I can buy at one shot.

 

Not sure for the 06-07 but I bought an STI scoop and splitter. Still sitting in my closet....

 

I believe the scoop on the 06-07's are the same on WRX and STI. I could be wrong tho.

 

I'd check, if not definitely get the scoop as well.

 

Well I just read threads on nasioc, and they all say hawk eye scoops are the same on sti and wrx. Bug eyes and blob eyes are different heights between wrx and sti.

 

I have a STI red manifold if interested. It's nice bling for the motor.

K, back to the search. Need a DP. The sti tmic isn't as important, but if one comes along at a price I can't refuse, I'll take it. If you have an aftermarket dp, but not a Cobb, lmk and I'll think about it.

This is correct...the hawkeye WRX's and STi's have the same hood scoop so an STi splitter from an '06/'07 will bolt right up to a WRX or STi from the same years. If I remember correctly, you'll need a longer elbow for the STi intercooler to fit properly but don't quote me on that.

Well in that case, I think I'll be holding off on the sti tmic for a bit, since I just dropped $120 on a Mishimoto Y-pipe, throttle body boot and bpv hose set.

 

I knew someone would do it!
