WTB: Stock '00/'01 RS Suspension

Hello.

Does anyone have a full set of '00/'01 RS sedan/coupe struts/springs/tophats they'd like to sell ? I'm looking for full assemblies ready to just bolt onto the car. Must be in good working condition.

I have a lead on some strut assemblies from an OBS. Anyone know for sure if those would fit a sedan ?

they will fit but you are gonna get a much higher ride height.

 

Hmmm, sounds like I'll have to keep shopping.

It's not really that much higher. I think the OBS is less than an inch higher than the RS.

 

OK, what causes the increase ? The springs ? The top hats ? The strut bodies themselves ? I suppose I could always slap on my Eibach springs temporarily if it's just a matter of spring length.

I think it's just a difference in springs.

How many miles are on the OBS struts/springs that you are looking at? I might have a trade for you...

 

I've got my stocks springs from a 2000 RS for sale if your interested??? I'd say about 50,000 miles on em before going to prodrives. There stillin great shape. Let me know.

Last year's coilover build never happened, unfortunately, but it will happen this year. So I'm on the lookout for some stock strut assemblies again. Anyone have any they want to be rid of ?
