Looking for a complete stock intake for my 06 WRX. Will buy outright, or even trade you straight up for the K&N Typhoon that's on there now if you pay a reputable board member to do the swap (FukiK, idget etc.) Not sure about year to year compatibility other than 07, but I'll keep researching and tryo to come back with the answer. I have one that should work. It's from an 03, but i really don't think that there's a difference. You just want the airbox and the intake tubing?
I have one from a 07 wrx laying around somewhere, has a snorkle/snorkus delete on it. However, I am located in Fargo. It can be shipped.
Thanks for the replies! @tangled: I'm looking to go back to stock from the picture below. The previous owner had put this in, and I haven't taken it off yet. I think I'd like to put this back to stock and use the money for a DP+tune. I'm looking for everything I need to take the K&N out, and put factory parts back in - as close to stock as I can get it. Yeah, all you need to do is take the K&N off from the black turbo inlet tube toward the fender. Then pop in the stock air box and flex hose that connects it to the turbo inlet. Probably take 10-20 minutes to swap it all out. Easy peasy.
Tangled has it all correct. Should be a very simple job, under 20 minutes(providing there isnt anything messed up on your car and you have all the parts) and only require a screwdriver and a couple sockets.
