Anybody have any stock WRX front rotors left over from a brake upgrade? Just checking before I go out and waste my money on some new ones when I'm planning a brake upgrade soon. Doesn't it suck how things go wrong when you're saving for something else?

the stock rotors? I have mine still. The only thing is that the rotors don't come with much meat on them in the first place, so they may be too thin to be turned. I'm pretty sure mine were the stock rotors, but i can measure the thickness to see if they are even worth the time and effort into installing them on a car.

I never thought Subaru would go cheap on their OEM WRX rotors. Can you justify your statement?

Hey if you could bring them down to Firestone next weekend I'll throw ya a little money for them if you wanna get rid of them. I just need a temporary fix until i can afford a major brake upgrade. Thanks.

honestly fong, i dont' remember my sources (guess i could just look at mine in the garage), but i've heard many times that they are pretty thin to begin with, and that turning them can only be done a few times if at all. My old ones, most likely not, they were so bad that i had no pad on one side, the were sensor was scraping. But i can check to be sure.

Well if Speeddemon doesn't make it, anybody that brings a decent looking set of stock front rotors will be rewarded some cash for their efforts. I will be at Firestone around 9 on Friday. Just look for the silver WRX Wagon.
