Hey im new to the forum and Im looking for a subaru. It can be anything from a sedan to wagon, impreza to legacy, turbo to non turbo but must be AWD and under 12 grand. Any help pointing me in the right direction to find me a nice subaru is greatly appreciated. thanks
give us some more information on what you are looking for. because i could get you an ej18 base model impreza for 12k would you be happy then?
Well, Ill narrow it down a little more... 4dr, Impreza or Legacy... Wagon Impreza... 5spd... 1996 & up... 12k under...!!! Thanks XD
never really pushed to get rid of it... posted it up and had it for sale a handful of times, never really try to sell it tho.
well I aint a catholic priest..... besides what's your excuse... ha ha I saw that free candy sign on your car
alright boys......a little effort to keep this on topic, huh? unknownsubaru, with such a vague description. there's really not much that we can do for ya. you really need to do some research for yourself. www.cars101.com is an awesome source for what was available when, and with all kinds of stats on the cars (storage space, weight, ground clearance, etc.). just keep your eyes on http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ and other online car sources like carsoup, and autotrader. getting a deal on a car is all about research. know what you're looking for, inspect the cars very carefully when you see them (if you don't know what you're looking at, bring someone who does). if you get a deal without the research, you're either lucky (it happens) or you're getting screwed (read the world motorcars corp. thread in the general section!).
Ok I narrowed it down now to what Im looking for... Impreza Wrx, sedan or wagon.. Possible an RS sedan if the price is right... Thanks Chux for the info... now for some feedback about this car i just found what u guys think.. http://denver.craigslist.org/car/614448122.html
Don't know can't really trust people these days. I've seen many adds like that before where they always say they are moving out of country. Get me a Vin and I'll run it for you. Make sure to get a phone number and possible if you have anyone in that area, have them look at it.
If you're ok with buying stuff without looking from a private person many miles away - try ebay. That way at least you'll have some protection against people disappearing with your money and a short protection from major repair to tranny/engine.
i feel that the price is just a little too high and you could talk him down with minor dings and scratches etc. when you look at the car. now remember flying all the way out there is alot for a used car. on top of that the "extras" do not add value to the price of the car. so that should not be a question when hes trying to hook you on that. i think you could get away with that car for 10,500k solid if everything checks out ok.
