I drove down to the cities to buy a 95l but the person backed out for some reason, so im looking for a older awd impreza. Must be a sedan other than that im not too picky. looking to spend under $5000
too bad you are only looking for a sedan. My dad has a 95 impreza wagon, which we are probably going to sell soon.
Few weeks ago I was looking at some cars at this one small dealer shop in Shakopee, a few miles west of ValleyFair on the same hwy. There was a 94 or 95 Impreza sedan AWD 5spd for $1700. Milage is a bit over 200k though. It'll be a good project I think. Might wanna check if its still there.

its has a ton of mods, stage 3 clutch, fly wheel, 2 sets of rims/tires.exhaust,front rear sway bars, different springs. and a bunch of other suspension mods. has allmost no rust. 1 small spot on front fender and door.hes holding it for me until tomorrow evening

We are keeping the stock on the RS and if the others fit my WRX--they are mine. This car will be our work car mostly to put all of our miles on and a little playing of course.
The car will be a work car so im not worried about tuning. I will just pull out the AFC. I just sent $5500 cash with my buddy to Chicago, hopefully the car is all the guy says it is. I will have to do a road trip to Chicago next Thursday to get it.
There are no plans for this car---it's just a car to put miles on back and forth to work. I think we put enough money into the STi and the WRX. We'll know tonight for sure if we got it. The guy is holding it for us..a friend is going to double check it tonight and if all looks good--it's ours..Rich will drive down on his long weekend next week and bring it home.
^ I believe on the way to Grizzly's Saturday night Rich said it has not been tuned but it starts and idles, he seemed proud it did that.
