lols no dude. i was going to pick up joe's this weekend but joe sold it already. so now im on the look out agian. and this time i hope i do it right and wont need ANOTHTER one after this haha

hah yeah picked up for 60 and it blew on me in a few days so now im thinking i have to do more than get a new turbo so we'll see.

 

Haha. Wow. Sounds like yer having a lubrication problem. Personally I would try to figure out why they keep blowing instead of throwing turbos at it and watching em blow up. But that's just me

 

haha thats the plan this time. im going to remove the banjo bolt filters and full oil change and see whats going on. also clean out the oil pan and get new gaskets and ect. but i need a turbo so i know i have everything. so i can do it. lols

 

Check for blockages in the lines too, you didn't specifically mention that.

 

how do you check for blockage? oil and coolant seem to be running through fine. i just removed the banjo bolt filter. going to drain oil and drop in some new oil. but i need a turbo to run it.

 

I got one. Its from a 04 fxt 11,000 miles. No shaft play. Its my back up turbo for if and when my 39 gives out. Hows about 160? lmk

I guess I'd use a syringe (from, say, Ax-Man surplus) to manually inject and push motor oil or coolant (as appropriate) through the lines individually.
