I need a new set of tires and I will possibly do a rim and tire deal. Must have fairly good tread considering they have to make it through winter and then some. Rims must have minimal rashes but its not a huge deal if they have them I have already looked for them on the tires web sites just searching through my options before I pay big bucks for something someone my want to get rid of first. Also if anybody knows of any shop/store that has a good deals right now feel free to leave a comment.

    Tire size:195/50 or 205/50
    Rim size: 16's

    Thank you

Well the brz rims are 5x100 so the rims wont work. I do have some Sti bbs rims but they are wider then the brz rim. Some people say they have ran 225 fine on the car others say it's a squeeze.

So do you need 5x114 or 5x100 rims? I know of some good deals, but need more info as i have no idea what a Mazda Protege runs for bolt patterns.

Also Mazda centering hub is larger than Subaru... So you can put theoretically Mazda wheels on a Subaru (assuming the correct bolt pattern) - but to put Subaru-specific wheels on a Mazda you would need a spacer (or bore out the center.)

Basically you won't find much here, since anything 5x100 (ie, 97% of Subarus) won't fit your car, and anything 5x114 is is most likely going to be 17"+ diameter and 8"+ wide.

I have a set of 16" 98 Eclipse GS rims with blizzak snow tires close to 10/32 that I used for one season of ice racing on my old GSX I had. $400 pm for pics etc if you're interested. They are sitting in my storage shed and the size I believe is 205/50R16
