I don't have one, but just saying do not take one from a bad transmission. You can not clean them out.

yup i know, i don't know alot about transmissions, but when a shaft is firmly stuck into my old torque converter its not good.
and where do i even go about getting a new one (TC)? ive tried searching napa and the like and none of them have them.

Talk to a transmission shop. They can get new units.

well now that i moved to the middle of no-where finding a transmission shop is going to be tough, and a dealership HA not one close to me. But i guess ill actually try going inside the store at napa and see if they can order me one up, otherwise ill have to make a trip to the dealership.

So you're not in Chaska? If you are, Carlson Automotive should be able to get one for you. Even Kennedy Transmission.

no i moved back to hutchinson, now looks like im going to dig through the phone book and see what i can come up with.
Since napa couldn't even order one, same with oreilly's, and carquest. and they guy at napa told me when i asked where i could even get one he said the junkyard as long as they can guarantee it. so the hunt continues to find one.

and off topic kinda, anyone know how vital the c clip thing on the shaft that the torque converter goes into. it looks like a big c with two tangs sticking up.
