I'm looking for another set of TPMS sensors for the second set of rims we have for the 2009 Forester. I'm guessing the 2008+ Impreza sensors would work as well. Let me know what you have...

Definately gonna need these now. Just picked up snow tires. I want to move the all seasons over to the new rims and mount up the snows on the factory rims.

Which ones did you order? Does the ECU just detect them or do you have to reprogram the ECU for each set of rims/tires?

Well... doesn't really matter any more. We left the TPMS sensors in the stock rims with winter tires and her summer tires/rims go without. The light doesn't bother her much.

the sensors have a serial number to them. So you would have to reflash the ecu every time you swap out rims. I did the same thing, left the sensors in the winter/factory rims and deal with the light on the summer rims. Not worth $100 a year to not have a light.

Yeah, I personally don't care about the light. But I was hoping the wife's car didn't have it. I thought I read they make a simple tool now to redo the TMPS at home. It cost a pretty penny, but two cars and 5 sets of rims might justify it within a couple years.
