Hi my '04 WRX came with the armrest extension thing, and I would like to replace it with the smaller stock part. Would like to buy at a good price or even better, trade for the OEM $145 extension part I'd like to part with! :biggrin:
It is the OEM center console/dash material and color -black pretty much. I have the original screws for it and will gett all cleaned up prior to trading

Yeah, just the little lid/door that covers the hole behind the parking brake handle. The one that get replaced to put this thing on...
Stock 04-05 WRXs have a little cubby hole with a lid to put stuff away, right behind the e-brake. You could replace the stock lid with the center armrest extension piece from the pics above. I find it too bulky and would like to trade this for the stock part (lid)... Does that make sense? Not sure how else to explain... :ugh:
I know what it is. I'll take it. Mine has been driving me insane, I like to have a bit of an armrest, and an extra spot to store useless crap. Oh yeah, I got an 05, so no fitment problems. We'll swap
Ok so for the record, they don't fit into 05s either! If you want to help this dude out, you must have an 04 without the extension. bump ttt.
Just my .02, I am trying one of these out and it cause a little bit of a problem when shifting. I think I can see why this was only an automatic option in 02-03.
Too bad this one didn't work on my auto 02 then, I think I would like it... and good luck trying to find a trade!
