If someone can chime in...I have one from an '04 STI and an '06 WRX, will they work? I feel like they might...

I'm pretty sure they're the same. When I compared my STI stock mount to my old WRX mount, they looked the same.

The STI mount has more rubber in it to resist movement. A 5-speed mount has the same mounting points, but there's less rubber in the actual mount.

I can compare the 2 in my garage when I get a chance, but the real question here is...Will they work for the GC chassis?

Yes the 5mt mounts can be interchanged between GC/GD/BC/BD/BE. It does look like the 6mt is the same mounting set up also. Personally I would get the group n motor and transmission mounts and be done with it.

The 6MT mount itself is just a bit shorter. I know someone using a 6MT Group N mount on a 5MT tranny without any issues.
