I am looking for a stock wrx or sti working longblock, no leaks or drips or any problems, preferrably ready to drop or without intake manifold. Though still driveable, my current engine is slowly leaking fluid and making noises, so either I am going to rebuild it or trade/sell off that one if I can get a working motor. My current motor is a 2.5 STI longblock. Make me a deal or let me know where I can get one. Thanks for looking.
I'd rebuild the 2.5 you have. I'm not sure why it is leaking, but if you pull the block from the car you should be able to figure out what is causing the leaks. And no idea on what noises you are hearing, but if it has to do with the internals, now is the time to upgrade them.
The plan is to rebuild but I need a DD car first. Either a motor to get me going in my current car or another car then I can start rebuilding. I just thought I'd throw this up to see if anyone has one...
