I am looking for a new daily driver because my Saturn is having transmission problems for the 2nd time since I've owned it. I don't need to spend more to keep this car running than the car itself is worth. I am looking for anything that is in nice shape. Prefer a 4 door, but 2 door works. Prefer auto because I can't drive a stick (just haven't learned and don't really wanna learn). Other than that I don't need anything special. Would like an Impreza or Legacy maybe. Otherwise any other cars you might have for sale under $7000 may be considered. Thanks. Mike
I have a 96 Legacy Sedan AWD 2.2L Auto 162,xxx mi. for sale, has pwr wndws, pwr lck. I just need to fix two minor things. I just put head gaskets in it, and replaced the transfer clutches(makes the rear wheel drive work). Its a light green in color, no major damage, just some small scratches here and there. I'm looking to get $3,250.00 for it.
Let me know if you have any questions http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3611&highlight=97+legacy
My very relaible 95 Passat for sale. My current daily driver. 2.0L motor (26+mpg average) 5 speed (Shifts fine clutch is good) New Front rotors and semi metalic breaks New Alternator New Distributor New Front tires (all look next to new) New Plugs New Wires New Windsheild New rear right passanger window Moon Roof 2005 Battery EGR Has been..... delt with. Front 2 Window motors have been replaced (all but rear right work) Alignment done this spring drives straight as an arrow Nice Sony CD Deck with IPOD/MP3/PSP input (basicly just aux in) Also does cool little Rally car animation snowboarder jumping Timing belt done at 110k 170,000 miles The rear breaks and rotors could use replacement but I get by fine right now. The only other thing I can see being a problem is the starter just started to feel like its having a bit more trouble, still starts fine though. 2,400 obo I really should just keep this car and drive it till it dies but I got a new job and I've wanted a WRX as a DD for some time. I'll try to get pics up by this weekend VIN# WVWCC83A3SE213604 This is an easy stick to learn on, theres not a ton of power to trash the tranny.
yaahhhh very sweet car. i thought it had some floor board issues (not sure) but that thing is cool AWD turbo 323!
you, I am trying to sell it and you are knocking it. Why dont you see your way from the thread since you are not providing any options for the thread starter
i got a 2nd gen jeep cherokee with leathers, auto. 160k miles. runs good. $3200 obo. has all time 4 wheel drive. mp3 player.
Thanks for the replies, but I guess I'm waiting until spring. I have 2 cars right now (my current DD is having tranny problems that wouldn't be hard to fix, but I don't have equipment or time and don't want to pay a garage, so I'm going to get rid of that one) and the older Saturn just needs struts and an oil pan gasket...I'm going to put struts in and use it for the winter (save myself money. My fiancee is allowing me to buy a new car (we've come across a way to save me money every month so that I will have enough for a decent down payment on a new(er) car (04 to 06 of something). Maybe I can now get the car I want from my name. Will have a trade plus cash for the car now.
Am somewhat interested in the GTX though, how much and do you have pictures? PM me with that info. Thanks. Mike
dude, check out the '99 Impreza RS posted below. Its a manual for $8,000. That's a pretty sweet car with all the stuff in it. 5-speeds are not that hard to learn, but it can be a hassle if you commute in traffic every day. other than that, do check it out. good luck!
