WTB: vehicle under 4k

My dad wants a well maintained vehicle under $4k to replace his totalled vehicle. If you know of any that would need no work and are in good running condition and not rusted out let me know. It would be better if mileage were as low as possible but considering the price, this may be difficult. Thanks guys

I'm not sure if this fits what he's looking for. 2000 outback sport, 140,xxx miles, some rust spots but not rusted out, $3800. Well maintained, no issues, but I've run it in several rallyx events in the last year or so.

I have a 96 Outback with 98K on it. I just replaced headgaskets, T belt, spark plugs, and transfer clutches. Asking $3,800 for it.

It has a dent in the drivers side fender, but no paint is missing. And it also has some rust around windshield.
