It doesn't need to do anything except run a pci card and be pentium 2 or above. I'm trying to keep the price at a minimum, hopefully someone wants to get rid of an old one thats collecting dust. I don't need a monitor or keyboard/mouse/speakers and probably not even a power cord. If it can stay on for a half hour without hardware failure it will probably fit my needs.
I've got one in questionably working condition, I think it needs a power supply. AMD64 I'll get more specs up tonight. What are you doing with it, btw?
I have a stack of old Compaq and IBM p2 and p3 workstations in a pile to recycle at work. If you pick them up you can have a few. PM me if you're interested. No hard drives, tho.
Go to the Brooklyn Park or Bloomington electronic recycling centers. I was just up at the BP one today getting rid of an old TV and two PCs with monitors. You can have your pick of the litter for free.
I got an athlon 1-1.4ghz (not sure which speed exactly). Custom built from spare parts but never bothered to turn it on since I never used it. It's got an HD, CDROM, and all that stuff. $75 pickup or $100 delivered (within reason)?
