Ebay has Tein's and TANABE's for pretty decent price. As far as I know the sedan and wagon springs are the same. At least they are for the 93-01 Imprezas and the 02-03 springs also fit on the 1st gen prezas
Wagon and sedan springs are different. I have a wagon and I had to piece together my AGX KYB setup by buying GC wagon fronts, with bugeye sedan rears. AGX does make the GR-2 strut which is specific for the bugeye wagon, but it's only a minor upgrade from stock.
Most company's use the same spring for both sedan and wagon, the 60-70 lb difference isnt enought to produce a whole new spring. I would suggest Prodrive springs.
i have bugeye wagon specific spring on my 04 wagon, debetaing weather i want to get rid of them, i have the "saggy but syndrom" lol, throw me an offer! they are swift springs, they ride really nice and have a really nice drop.
There is a fix for the saggy but syndrom. check it out: http://www.rs25.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76172
I think it was over on NASIOC, but there is a slight possibility it was DirtyImpreza; anyway, I seem to remember that the STI/SPT Wagon Pinks were supposed to be really nice with the Tokico's. But I have none to offer. Good luck.
Thanks everyone, after speaking to Mayhem83 I have decided to keep moving forward with my first option, Coil Over conversion kit with heavy springs. I will say that my phone call to Ground Control was less than satisfactory in terms of customer support. It seems that unless you are a current customer they have no time to talk to you and feel you are waisting their time. My intent was to purchase new spring rates from them when I called. Oh well my business will go anywhere but Ground Control. It seems I am being pulled into the dark side of Rally by Mark who knows where this will stop. Mike
