Anyone here know where I can buy Wilwood 570 fluid locally? Any vendors here sell it? No rush really, but it would be nice if I could pick it up locally instead of having to order it online.

Thx, anusface, but this is part of normal service. I have 2 12oz bottles of Wilwood 570 in my possession, but I need one more bottle. Plus I need to do a caliper rebuild.

Well, the only good race shop in the area, Apex SPG doesn't even carry willwood.
why don't you switch to an easier to find but equal fluid like SuperBlue?

I spoke with Russ, he said the same thing. Plus, it's cheaper. ATE SuperBlue it is. I don't know what I'm going to do with the two bottles of Wilwood I have though. Maybe I can sell them.

if their un opened, hold on to em'.
after your flush with SuperBlue, and you need to flush again, use the Willwood. that way it will be a drastically diffrent color and it will be easy to tell when the lines are clean. then on the 3rd one, switch back to the SuperBlue.

How big are the bottles, 12oz?! The brake system doesn't hold very much fluid... When I flush, I usually only use 1 small bottle (8oz?) and call it good. Never had a problem on the track doing that.

If you are willing to sell cheap, I may buy them from you when I get back at the end of Feb....

I know it shouldn't take much, but this will be done in conjunction with a caliper rebuild, so I'm going to need to refill the system. I'll let you know in a couple days what I'll sell them for...wont be much.

clamp the line - - that may be a stupid comment but hey if you do a caliper rebuild they shouldn thold a great deal more fluid... unless you dont clamp the line and it all drains out

It's time for a fluid flush anyway is the thing. I figure if I'm going to rebuild the calipers and do a brake fluid change, I might as well just start fresh.
