Looking to get some wrx heads, intake manifold and other misc bits to put on the legacy. Let me know what ya got.
Im pretty sure the 20g heads from japan are the only ones that work with the t leg crank and cam sensors.... I could be wrong though I smell another project bryan..... IM IN! lol
I have a set of '02 USDM WRX heads for sale. I posted them up a while ago and there was no interest. they have not really moved at all. They are complete except for cams. They have pretty much everything else though (cam gears and spark plugs included!). I also have the intake manifold wiring harness for a 02/03 USDM wrx. I had a manifold but aspitfire bought that. I was going to do the EJ22t/EJ205 hybrid but am going a different route and no longer need these parts. send me a pm if you are interested.
indeed. if you run anything else you will need all of the matching wiring to go with it. If you go USDM you will have a plethora of engine management options though.
A guy I know has some EJ20G heads, I will email him and see if they are still lying around. I believe he had the cams too.
For EJ20 heads you'll need the engine harness, ECU and internal wiring harness. This is expensive. You could have someone alter your wiring harness for use with the ECU possibly, not sure about that though as I have no experience in those matters. Another option would be to just get your EJ22t cams reground and port your heads. :EDIT: that was supposed to say "USDM EJ20 heads" The heads Zack is talking about would work fine as is I believe.
definitely an option. I have heard from a few different sources that even PnPed the EJ22t flow less than stock 2.5RS heads. you should check over on RS25. there are usually a fair number of EJ20G parts for sale.
