I've got a Kartboy short shift lever and black knuckleball shift knob for sale. Comes with black or yellow sticker for the shift knob. Looking for $100 for the pair together. Lever is for the <2001 models, or for those newer cars with the factory shifter upgrade installed. Stuart.
Stuart, the linkage assembly i have is out of i believe an 02 wrx, looks like this if it helps. Im looking for a non-metal knob so i dont know if your willing to part with just the lever. Shoot me a PM with a pic and maybe we can meet up and try it in the assembly to see if it will work. $15 sounds good to me, anyone have a nice non-accordian boot to go with it?
If it's a stock 2002 linkage it won't work. The pivot is too narrow; it'll just flop around. I believe the STi factory short shift kit that's an option on the 2002-2005 cars was the stock '99-'01 shifter. Funny, huh ? Stuart.
So the moral of the story is i should have gotten a 99-01 assembly instead? Blast! oh well ill just have to throw down for a lever for the 02 assy. Thanks anyways. Still looking for a non-accordian boot despite the claim of winnage with it...
