I'm doing my 5mt swap this weekend and need a clutch alignment tool. Anyone around here have one to borrow to me?

    Thanks,

I have a metal one (from a busted trans) you can use but you will need to come to Stacy to get it. Let me know.

Cool. I'll need it this weekend, most likely saturday since friday night is when I'll be pulling all the Auto stuff. I could swing down and meet you somewhere friday night.

    Thanks

NP man. I'll PM you my cell number. We could meet at Firestone on Friday. Don't know how far that is for you, it takes me about 20min to get there. Whatever, we can figure it out later.

I'm not sure if this works on EJ-series trans's.....the starter hole might not be in the right place. but on the EA ones, you can reach the PP to flywheel bolts through the starter hole. put the clutch kit together as you would normally, but only put those bolts in finger tight. than the clutch disc can move around under the PP. making mating the engine and trans about 45 million times easier.....

than just tighten those bolts through the starter hole by turning the engine over from the crank bolt.
