My 2004 FXT is out of warranty so its time for a STi conversion.
I'm looking for the following STi parts:
    - 2004 STi ECU
    - TMIC (including bypass, hoses, etc.)
    - Uppipe
    - VF39 turbo
    - Aftermarket downpipe

I'd appreciate any advice, leads on finding these parts even if you do not have any available for sale. (Also, any lessons learned from someone who's gone through this swap).
    Thanks,

Wow, another FXT member! It's been over a year since my install so my memory may be a little hazy. Most of the information I can provide for you may have to be in person since I like to talk in detail and not spend so much time typing. I can only tell you what I have done.

A little info of mine: I use a 2004 STi ECU. I made 271 WHP with the STi components, aftermarket turboback, Helix uppipe, APS short ram intake (be warned, some intakes don't work well). I have replaced the t-fitting with a bigger one that's found on www.scoobymods.com (I think that's where).

If you want a quick install from the STi bolt-ons, get an 04 STi ECU. It's safe as long as you change everything relating to air/fuel/spark to OEM STi (even spark plugs).

If you have enough for engine management, buy an 04 FXT Accessport and use the VF39 map that is made for your VF39 turbo (it's stage 3 I believe) or work with Mr. wall of TVs or Nuke for a custom road tune with OpenECU.

Let me know if you want to show up at firestone some night. I can talk with you about it because I like talking about what I've done to my car.
