This TV has been awesome, but, I need more monies for car parts! http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LNT4053H-40-LCD-HDTV/dp/B000N50RXC Absolutely no problems, bought brand new, in September 07 from the EP BestBuy. Just been sitting next to my computer lookin good. I have all documentation, parts, and even a few extras! HDMI cable, and a DVI to HDMI adapter in case you wish to hook it up to your computer. (I've done this, and everything looks fine. Havent played many games on the tv yet, only Medieval Total War 2.) And it comes with a Best Buy extended warranty, 4 yrs. BTW, this is what the back looks like. There is a third HDMI on the side, USB, and component hook-ups. LOOKING FOR THE BEST PRICE, but who isn't?
Don't have money, but if I did, I'd pick it up. I too can also vouch for this tv. My brother in law has the same one. Great quality. Of course, if I got one, it'd be Samsung.
Brand new I am guessing this thing is around $1200, new... I bought a 42" VIZIO for about $900 but that has no where near the resolution/screen quality of the Samsung! This is the 1080p version of the same TV... vvv http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8749465&type=product&id=1202649424827 $1000 or maybe less is probably reasonable for a very nice TV with little use... Bump to the OP! *NINJA EDIT: Price on Amazon.com in the original post link...
Hello all, Just to refresh, this TV is 720p/1080i. I am looking for 900.00$ for this TV, and if anyone should offer more, then that would be awesome, how can I turn that down, lol. It does come with a few extra goodies, HDMI cable and a DVI to HDMI adapter (for connection to computer) both bought from Micro Center. When I bought this thing, in the original box, it barely fit in the back seat of my Legacy. My dad had to come with to help push my seats down a bit. Now, out of the box, it should fit inside the back seat of the Legacy just fine, BUT, these LCD HDTVs should NOT lean too far on its sides, and it they must, then for not too long, it could damage the picture! Take Care all, Brandon. TERMS of SALES: I am looking for Cash, and if Cash does not work for you, then a MONEY ORDER from WELLS FARGO will do fine, I do need to verify that the Money order is good before exchange of the TV is done. I do live in EP, and work 5 days a week, so my times to meet are limited. But if it is sold, then I can make time after work.
Any serious offers will be considered, I would love to get 900$ for everything, but if it is close, I will go for that too.
Played some ps3 today at bestbuy on one of these Dirt is fun on a huge screen! any dead pixels or marks on screen??
Nope, absolutely no blemishes. I have been taking awesome care of this TV, I set the brightness/contrast/back-light settings on low to save the life of the tv picture. When televisions are set to bright settings it inherently burns out the t.v. faster.
Thanks for the complement! I did much research about the new HDTVs before I bought one, and what fit by budget/quality ratio was this Samsung.
Arg, you guys drive a hard bargain! 800$ now, I can't go much lower, my Subie needs new parts :eek4: Feelin' lazy, click here to go back to the original post.
I haven't received a PM Snowbum, but this TV is now SOLD. Snowbum I just received the PM, but I am extremely sorry .
