WTT 04 sti tail lights for 07 tail lights

    from what I understand the harness needs to be swapped too

    I thought you could simply unplug one of the light bulbs that's not needed. 4 lights on the 06+, 5 on the 04/05.

    It's best to unplug the harness (and incredibly easy). That way, each type of light has the amount of bulbs that it was supposed to have.

    Bobafett and I did it in a parking lot in about 10 minutes (including conversation :))

    As long as they're in good shape, I don't see why I wouldn't do this. I has 07 WRX.

    Yup a very easy swap. I would recomend swapping the harnes. Then its just plug and play.

    Simple ratchet set. Can't remember what size....maybe a screw driver. Very, very simple. Just go out to your car and see what it takes to take them out. Pull back the carpet and take a gaze...super simple...and '04-'05 lights look awesome on '06-'07's!

    IIRC its a 5/16 wrench. It may be a metric size though.

    The harnes is just a simple push tab locking thing. Similar to the one in the trunk for brake light, but way easier to get it apart. LOL!
