Anyone maybe want to trade a their Cobb (or other quality 3in) catless downpipe for my Cobb with a kitty? I wouldn't mind the extra 2-3hp, I like loud, I am not a hippie (sorry hippies ), and I already have a kitty. (Omar pictured below) I think this would also just be fun to mess around with since I can't afford any real mods :biggrin:
The cat (or lack of) won't really do a whole lot for you noisewise. It's more in the muffler than anything else. My catless TXS setup is pretty quiet due to the Prodrive axleback, but I could bolt a cheap melon launcher on and wake the dead.
Hmm, good to know. It really doesn't matter to me if it is louder, I just like loud. I was thinking that someone might have no cat and feels just terrible about it, this way, we could just trade so they feel better since I have no shame. P.S. Can't find a pic of my kitty
I heard you take off from fs friday, it wasn't that quiet Sounded nice though:yumyum: I love prodrive Brian is absolutely correct. My apexi gt spec axleback is very loud compared to the same exhaust system and a prodrive, borla, sti, etc...axleback ...and yes, i love shooting mellons
I still have yet to hear my car from outside. It sounds good inside but I've heard it's better outside the car. It's only loud when I really put my foot in it With my setup, the car probably makes less noise at WOT than some of the other setups I've heard at well under WOT.
