WTT My quiet magnaflow muffler for a louder muffler 02-07 wrx/sti

    This is NOT my setup, but mine is in similar condition. (ON THE RIGHT SIDE)

    Just looking to swap the last section (muffler section). The piping is 2.5". Magnaflow muffler is a very common system. Its way too quite for my taste. Would like a system in similar condition (decent polish, very minimal to no rust). Looking for rumbles. I'm in absolutely no hurry. Can definitely add cash on my end. Thanks for your consideration!

    I think I would love the sound! But I'm looking for something with a little cleaner finish.

    It is on the car, and I can send a text video of the sound. Or I can drive to you and you can hear it in person.

    See this clip for an idea of the sound...

    Damn quiet compared to other mufflers I've heard. My car has a huge aftermarket downpipe, but it also DOES have a cat which could be masking some of the sound. I like my car LOUD.

    I've heard it in person. It is quiet. It looks great on the car too. Good luck with the trade! Wish mine came apart.

    So that sound clip was stock everything to a 2.5" magnaflow axleback. Wonder how it would sound with a full 3" running back to it?

    Flowmaster 40 series. Takes a while to break in but itll give you good rumbles. How much of a drone are you looking for? The Flowmaster 40 will drone and does sound pretty good on these cars, I had it on my 02 wrx and have the same one on my 99 forester and it sounds awesome and its really loud lol

    Similar situation to the eBay exhaust. Sounds great, but looking for something with a cleaner style. Thank you for the offer!

    It all depends on how you have it done with the flowmaster imo. Mine looks pretty clean and I have a piece of 3 in exhaust piping coming off the end of it just so it has some kind of a tip to it and it looks similar to your maganaflow set up but with the flowmaster at the end with a piece of tubing. Ill try to get a pic of it tomorrow so you can see what it looks like on my Forester

    Bumping this. I did buy a Genome muffler (which will hopefully be louder), so you can outright BUY the Magnaflow if you want it also.

    Once I install the Genome I will probably close this thread and post a true for sale thread for the Magnaflow.
