*SOLD* WTS/WTT: MY Summer 18"s *SOLD**SOLD**SOLD**SOLD**SOLD* I have silver OZ Superleggera 18x8" 5x100 rims +48 (18.6 lbs) with BFG KDW2 225/40/18 tires (within 2/32 of new, <5000 miles). I got these rims because they're the lightest things you can find in 18x8 that don't cost a fortune. The tires excel in the wet as well as the dry which made them an easy choice. I originally bought them for my 04 WRX but when I switched to the STi, I find the sidewall too bumpy. They have no functional problems. Tires are evenly worn, never patched or anything. Some cosmetic stuff on rims normal for age. Nothing visible >5 feet away. Here is some quick pics on my 04 STi. Rim MUST be an "adult" color IE some shade of silver/aluminum/grey. No chrome, no black/gold/etc. Ideally it would be 17x8" or 17x8.5" with a ~+48 offset wrapped in 225/45/17 to 255/40/17 tires. Also MUST clear brembos without spacers (I have an 04 STi). Would consider stock BBS silvers with decent rubber. Also, these would be my new summer rims so I'm not interested in paying for winter rubber on em and would greatly prefer summer only to all seasons. I got my Rota G-force 17x8, flat black, 48 offset, 5x100, Rims are almost mint, bridgestone potenza tires(about 17k miles). (FYI: i dont have cash to go on top of that if thats what you're thinking) PM me if you're interested.
Flat black is probably too dark for me but I wouldn't mind a pic. Also, tire size and type would be appreciated. Probably not gunna work though...
I might be interested in the 18" without trades. Im going to look at the pics, but how much damage are we talking?
Small note, great buy for the Forester folks too. +48mm offset is our stock. I'd snatch them from ya if I could swap my Rotas + RE01Rs straight up, but the Rota Subzeros + RE01Rs aren't quite in that price range, not to mention I think Brembos are a no go. I wouldn't mind stepping to a 8" wide rim. Why'd you stick to 225? I've got 245 on 7.5" wide rims. :laugh:
Are they "Steel Grey"? It says they come in +48 (not sure if that's what you have) which I think should clear brembos. Most +48 rotas do. I don't know your tires might be too tall for me though if they're 245/45/17. That's .7" more than stock for me and on tien springs, I don't think they would clear. If they're the "Royal Lip Gunmetal" color, it's a no go. That's really really not what I'm looking for.
I don't know what they are. Gunmetal grey, polished lip (not sure if stock or not, lol. I have not been kind to them... :laugh: I buy for function, not prettiness. Yeah, 245/45/R17 tires, 26" tall. I bought them when I still had my Forester struts. I'm on sedan struts now, front works great, rear spring perch rubbed off the inside corner on the back tire. :ugh: There's so much rubber they still function, so I'm running them bald before I grab something appropriate for the lower sedan rear spring perch. I'm just glad I didn't burn down to the belt and pop the tire. So, yeah, I'm not a good fit for you, wasn't really seriously asking for a trade here, more so commenting to the Forester folks as a good option. I'm uncertain about the brembo thing. For some reason, I want to say it'd be a no go, but me being an oem caliper guy, I don't exactly look into that stuff like you do.
