WTT - working 60GB Video Ipod

Ok... so it has been confirmed thanks to curly today... my ipod has trouble communicating with my alpine deck.. must be a hardware issue... anyways...

here is the deal on offer...


I have a black 60GB Video Ipod....

Never been dropped... never had an issue until discovering this one... plays flawlessly, minor use markings if any.. had a rubber case on it anytime its not in a dock beside my bed...

again this thing has no other working issues that I have discovered... and only discovered this one after installing an alpine deck for it to work with... thats the only reason I installed the new deck is to use my ipod while driving...


So anyone (who doesn't use theirs in their car) got a black IPOD 60GB that they would be interested in swapping...

 

mine was PC formatted.... (I have both a macbook and a pc laptop but all my music is on my pc laptop cause macs suck for storage unless you sell your soul)


I have tried it after the apple store reformatted it with their mac.. same thing.. its a hardware issue


and I aint got funds to throw at buying a new one

 

Which version of the ipod control are you using? Just curious.

the ipod has the latest updates... and it is connected to teh alpine deck with the interface line.../ cable

 

there are two versions of ipod interface made by alpine, I have the older one I was curious if you were running the newer version, it is possible that he older version might work for yoru current ipod. might be worth a try!

 

The interface is more than likely not the issue after all the old one is a box that integrated everything because the old decks weren't iPod ready. Where as the new one is just a cable with all the stuff for the iPod already in the deck. That is really weird though not to sure what to think of it Nathan. Do you have your EQ set funny or anything out of the norm?

 

If you get desperate, I'll trade you a 30G white video.

I have a 60 GB photo, the interface is different enought that I think the old interface (usable with the new decks) might work for Nathans ipod. I'd trade you but I'm sure you want something better than a photo and I need more than 80GB of storage. Let me know if you are interested anyway.

 

they want me to pay $150 after handing in mine.. GTFO of here!!!
