WTT/WTS: 2001 Impreza Outback Sport - $1300

2.2 to 2.5 swap from an '01 Forester with head gaskets and timing belt kit done at 200k.

The engine has 204k currently Body has 273k with rust on the rear quarter panels and rockers, but underneath surprisingly has minimal to no rust.

5 speed with a brand new exedy stage 2 clutch with an ACT streetlite flywheel and all that tranny jazz.

Subaru Group N motor and transmission mounts

I bought new energy shifter bushings, but haven't had the time to put them in, as it's kinda a medium-ish job.

New front passenger LCA and knuckle

15" Subaru Legacy SS wheels with newish tires, less than 5k on them

Rally armours

Borla replica Unequal Length Headers


Known Problems:

ABS light is on for front driverside ABS Sensor

Rear wiper doesn't work

AC needs to be refilled, but I'm getting it refilled in the coming days.

CEL for O2 Sensor, I can get it replaced, but it doesn't affect driveability.

Cruise control doesn't work


Looking to sell for $1600 OBO or trades + a little cash for a rust free first gen Impreza shell.

 

Let me rephrase "minimal to no rust." to "rust, but not to the horrifying extent of the rear QP"

Sorry for the spam but I forgot to add something. Upgraded the stock single piston brakes to brand new Forester rotors, double piston calipers and pads. Bled the brakes with brand new fluid.

I was planning on doing the rear disk conversion in the coming weeks, but I haven't found much time to go out to U Pull.

Refilling the AC in a week

Getting new dash vents and O2 sensor to fix the CEL.

 

Just got new tabs. Good until next June

Yep, but I'm meeting with another potential buyer in WI.

 

Should probably add that when the engine was out, the Intake manifold, exhaust manifold, valve cover gaskets were replaced. As well at the Cam, Crank, and knock sensors.

 

Need a first car for my teenage daughter. I could buy it tonight. Cash in hand.

 

Want me to try and find the stock muffler? It's got none on it currently. Otherwise I recently bought a 24" stainless steel pipe to use as one.
