So, I've had these installed for a few weeks and have had a couple little annoyances. The DRL unit has been disabled inside the cabin. - 02 wrx bugeye wagon

    1. Hi-beam cluster light is on. - I have the resistors, just haven't put them in yet ;)

    2. Every so often, when I put on my turn signal, the lights go out and just my fogs stay on. :-/

    3. When I start up the car, sometimes only one light comes on...or neither. I have to manually turn them on.

Anyone have any ideas? Could my battery not be putting out enough juice? Even though I'm driving it? Wires in the wrong places? Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    - Justin K.

I would say weak battery. but as far as the hi-beam indicator, turn your fogs off and that will go off till you put the resistors in. Also I would turn the HID's off before you shut your car off and not turn them on without the car running. I have the same kit in my car and have had no probs since december.

its kinda hard to take pics of. I took some but they didn't do any justice.

I tested the battery with a multimeter and it was running over 13.6v while running and with the blinkers on. So, I don't think it's the battery. Matt said it could be a relay...but which one. Headlights or blinkers? It's really annoying to be driving and turning and having to keep turning your lights back on.

Also, I tried putting the resistors in, and it doesnt seem to work. What are the exact resistors that I need? (watts, ohms) and which wires do they go to. I just want to confirm if I have it right or not. Cause, my cluster high-beam light is still on....anyone?

    Thanks,
    - Justin k.

i have the same kit. i agree with him. i have no problems with my kit. just make sure that everything is hooked up properly too, its kinda wierd that the lights shut off with your turn signals.

as far as the resistor, I belive it is a .25 watt, and a 3 ohm resistor... I don't have one in yet...
