My 360 finally gave up the ghost! This has never been in for repair and I have had it since the original release of the 360. Anyone have any experience with either repairing or with local shops that can repair them? I don't want to wait for the 2 week turn around from Microsoft... Thanks, Glen
I will have to 2nd Minneapolis Gaming. Jim owns the shop. I took mine there, he fixed it, then somthing else went bad, so he sent it to Microsoft and had a new one for me in about a week. No charge, only the original $40 fix it fee. 3 month warranty on his work too, plus hes microsoft certified.
I have had to send mine a couple times and IMO it's worth the 2 week wait. You get your 360 replaced for free and you have a new 3 years of RRoD warranty.
