Has anyone used those maps? I'm just worried because the map was created in Cali on 91Oct and the elevation is totally different in MN. I have TBE and was about to upgrade.

Cali gas is crap, so I think it would be a very safe map.

Well if it's anything like the old 2.0L WRX stage 2 map, it's going to run WAAAAAYYYYY too much timing.

Yeah, Braden's "free" maps certainly did. He regulates the posting of logs quite heavily, so I can't really say how good it is. However, I get the impression most people running the maps do fine. I also know that he provides help on the private "XPT customer" forums, if you end up with any problems.

I have the xpt map for the 2.0 wrx. It's not much different than the free one.

Boost creep. Yeah that's now apart of life. I love that Borla Exhaust. Quiet at idle and not too loud inside the cabin. Outside might be too loud though. Although I haven't heard it from outside throttle.

You do know that boost creep is NOT a good thing, right? As in, it'll kill your motor after a while. Warranty definitely does not cover it. Might want to go get that wastegate ported.

Dude, get the XPT map first and see what happens. It's a cheap and easy thing to try first. :)

Well I was seaching through Nasioc about boost creep from stock ECU w TBE. I currently run Free Stage 1 Map for my car. I know I can't get rid of that boost creep due to the poorly made VF39 but that's why I want to get the XPT Stage 2 map to see if the map will add more fuel to when it does have boost creep. I'm guessing the boost creep will get to about 20psi since the target boost is 17psi. Otherwise porting out the wastegate is the other option or external wastegate but I don't know what size spring I should get when deciding to buy one.
