    Or i'm just going nuts:):ugh:

I went to te BP on Rockford Rd. and 494 in Plymouth. Regular was $2.19 and the 92 was $2.38/g:yumyum:

I paid $45 for what I'm sure was 13.4g(not a totally empty tank). I remember because I thought that was pretty expenive since gas is so cheap. I first thought 'sweet a $30-35 fill today! Not so:emo:...I remember at its highest, it cost me that much for a full tank. I hop in the car and had the fiance calculate it in the cell phones calc. It came out correct. But thinking about it here... That equates to $3.35/g.

Either way I figure it. My WRX has a 15g tank, full. $45/15g still equals $3/g which I know was not listed on the pump. :eek4:

I'm pissed I didn't opt for a receipt(swiped the card at the pump and selected NO). So, no way of proving what I paid or how much gas I got now. I'm just boggled because no matter how I cut it, I paid $3 or more today for gas. Yet I know it was much less than that and the cell phone calculated the same as the pump??!

I'm either paranoid:eek3: Stupid(wouldn't deny it) or they're trying to rip people off if you select no on the receipts:mad:. Just a heads up and see if anyone notcied the same:(

I dunno, since everything calculated fine on the phone, I didn't give it a second thought untill now.

I'm getting a receipt from now on though...

If you ask the store manager they may be able to pull it up in the history, if not then I think your credit card company gets a copy of the reciept, electronic or otherwise.

The sad thing is that is all a myth. Saw some info where the only way that you could get any sparks was if you shorted a full battery out and even then you would have trouble starting a fire from it. I operate 100 watt transmitters all the time (cell phone are maybe 1 watt but I do not think they are even that). Only faulty equipment can cause sparks.
