sooooooooo hot. I saw a GT3 the other day with a balding middle aged dude driving it. It also had the optional half-cage in it. <--- can't wait to be middle aged and having a crisis, lol
there was a guy who showed up at BIR and MAM round easter with his from the showroom floor GT3 (not the RS). middle aged, brain surgeon, balding...oh, and with a young girlfriend. I know I'm not making brain surgeon coin...may be a long while before I'm driving this thing
Yeah...that's probably him. Greatest car ever. Brings a smile to my face whenever I see it. We were talking to him down at MAM and said, "that's a nice car" to which he replied "Yes, yes it is". I probably wouldn't be all to modest if I were driving that thing either.
I've heard that Maplewood Imports should be getting a GT3 RS sometime soon. Anyone want to start pooling some money together?
Gt3 Was on the Autobahn 2 weeks ago and snapped these pics from my crappy 1.8L Diesel Ford Van. All I heard was a very loud intake sound as it came up on us, the guy could barely keep it under 40Mph.
My favorite shot is the 4th picture...was this the red one that you saw? Probably not on a trailer last time. http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16817
mmmm...black wheels on a red car. This is just before he went out on the track. Oh, those lightweight M3's aren't to shabby in the backround either...although the #57 there couldn't catch the GT3.
The RS is pretty much the perfect balance of suspension and power evar. A turbo would only ruin the amazingness that is porsche engineering.
