    - If you are competing, you absolutely must have an FRS radio. If you are only working the course, we would really really really like for you to have one. You can pick one up for $20 or less at Target or Walmart.

    - It is also a good idea to get your own helmet if you don't already have one. There are loaners available and you can borrow one from another competitor, but it is nice to have your own.

    - If you are competing, your car must pass tech inspection. Basically, no loose parts and nothing broken.

    - EVERYONE must sign the SCCA waiver - competitors, spectators, and volunteers.

    - Em is right, bring a poncho and/or warm clothes in case the weather gets nasty.

    - Food, something to drink, stuff to snack on

    - Sunscreen, if you're the kind of person who burns easily

    - Tarp or big plastic bin to put your stuff down on/in while you are racing. No loose items in the car means everything has to come out when you race.

Anyone else feel free to add to this. The full rallyX rules are available here: http://www.scca.com/documents/Rally Rules/2009rxr.pdf

You can also rent one from MNSOC for $5 a day. All proceeds go towards funding club events (like the free bbq!).

For this weekend, I would bring a poncho, hat, and change of socks for the forecasted rain. I typically bring an extra set of shoes, socks, shirt, pants (in case I wet myself with excitement), and a towel (for the sweat and... well... cars excite me...). A chair is nice too.

I'll be there both days but put me down as a maybe for the caravan, Emily. Not sure what time I need to be there and not sure what car I'm taking.
