OEM is usually the way to go...

4eat valvebodies apparently aren't all the same. If you wanted to be sure I would get one from a WRX.

Edit* - I have no experience with this TC as I bought OEM and sent it in.

I do have a vid on YouTube. Search for user "jfkhookecho" or "20g 4eat wrx wagon." The vid was a few years ago with the 2.0, pro-torque TC and IPT valvebody. It's from a roll, not launched. I would say it's quick :) The TC and VB make a big difference in launching and shifting. You would also want to get a nice tranny cooler, and some synthetic fluid (I use Amsoil) for your trans.

Not all 4eat VB's are the same. For that matter, not all TC's are the same either. The 4eat trans was used in many different subaru's and the WRX varient is going to be different than the 2.5rs model.

The best (and safest way), is to send in your parts. I have seen it over the years that someone picks up a VB or TC thinking that it is a easy swap and come to find out that they are a bit different.

You should just buy my tranny already set up and just sell your stock one for almost what you buy mine for.
