alignment spec?

    What are good aggressive but street able specs for a alignment?

    I currently have my car set at -1.7 degrees all around, with 0 toe front and rear. Really normal tire wear. It can follow the grooves in the road a bit, but its barely noticeable. If you don't want that, you can add a little toe in, but that will greatly hamper the turn-in of the car.

    Side note - I wouldn't mind a little more camber on the front, but this is all I could squeeze out of the stock bolts.

    -2/-1 camber F/R 0 toe all around. Somewhere around there is usually great for street use and not too hard on tires.

    how often do you rotate your tires with that set-up?

    -2/-1 sounds like the perfect combo for hard and very fast cornering. :yumyum:

    Despite what people say about camber, it is usually toe that kills tires. A little negative camber + toe out will really wear them alot faster on the inside.

    i totally agree, toe /cross toe kills. But the last time I changed my camber i think i went too long without rotating and ended up frying the tires quicker than normal

    Honestly I think camber gets a bad rap because people don't understand that the car needs to be re-aligned after camber is introduced or the car is lowered(which naturally introduces camber).

    Lowering without re aligning=massive toe in/out depending on where the rack is located.

    Agreed. Especially on Honda Civics, drop = MAJOR camber and HUGE toe-out.

    I just got aligned...-1.75 in the front and -1 in the rear. Should be decent on the tires and it corners amazingly well :biggrin:

    I don't run that setup, it's just a good compromise between great cornering and good tire wear.

    I run -1.5F/-.8R LGT wagon with 0 toe for daily driving. On my Impreza I run -2.8F/-.9R with 1/8 toe out up front and 1/4 toe out in the rear. The Impreza can corner like nothing I have ever driven. :biggrin:
